Box of 2400 biodegradable and compostable cellulose pad with the perfect size (115 x 75 mm / 4.5″ x 3″) for our recycled & recyclable PS microgreen cups.
These hygienic and easy to use pads are made from 100% virgin and sustainably sourced raw wood materials that are certified organic. And zero added nutrients (important also for organic farming).
These pads have improved hydration and root-penetration capacities due to their more open cellulose structure.
Their reduced thickness provides growers with the flexibility to use only 1 pad for popular microgreens such as pea shoots.
Other species often grow best on 2 layers (equals original thickness), depending on the cultivation and irrigation methods used.
